1980-09-28 Rowallan Pennant competition
The annual Rowallan Pennant competition for cub scouts was held at Hillside Dams, Bulawayo, yesterday was won by the 1st/12th Pioneer Group. More than 60 cubs from various Bulawayo packs established bases representing different countries and were given "passports" to enable them to visit other bases and take part in tests. Cub Scout Leader Mrs Sheila Eames said the cubs were tested on their knowledge of what they had learnt during the year and were also marked on projects given to them.
