Competition arrangements. Troops must send one patrol consisting of 6 to 8 Scouts. Patrols must provide own food, tents, transport to and from Gordon Park and pioneering equipment. Signed parental consent forms for each member of the Patrol must be submitted on arrival. Leaders are welcome to attend the weekend but are to camp separately from the boys and should make their own catering arrangements. The opening parade will be on Saturday the 21st of July at 0800hrs at the Bowl parade area. The entry forms should be submitted on or before Tuesday the 17th of July 2018 at the Provincial Headquarters. Uniforms should be worn for travelling purposes as well as the opening and closing ceremony. During the rest of the weekend, suitable camping clothing and scarfs are adequate. Scouts are responsible for their personal gear. Troops should make sure they have their annual levy paid to enter the event. Rovers are celebrating 100 years of rovering. Each patrol must make a pioneering model of a Rover Centenary gateway and sketch a campsite plan on paper and submit it after the opening parade.
