| THE METHOD

- All training based on the Scout Law and Promise which is voluntarily accepted by every member of the Movement (see end page)
- Providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, in an outdoor setting where possible, under adult leadership.
- Harnessing the natural gang instinct of boys through the Patrol system. This establishes self-discipline and moral fibre and builds up a natural resistance against the many influences surrounding adoloscents.
- Training for leadership, not only of Scouts, but in the outside world.
