Travellers to be contained until 10.30 hrs. with tour of
city covering the museum and main shopping areas. Transport and several authoritative guides required.
All Expat personnel to be at Provincial H.Q. at 11.00 hrs.

DETAIL FOR NIGHT RESCUE ORGANISER 4.9.72
Each patrol is to perform a rescue operation off rock ledge or steep rock slope. The victim has had a fall and has sustained suitable injuries. Victim to be about 10 feet above general ground level. The rescue patrol are equipped for a 'day hike'.
Patrols will be handed over to you at 19.30 hours. The rescue sites can be in or out of G.P. All Patrols to be back in G.P. at 21.45 hours.

Duration 2 hours all on foot.
The idea is a Patrol race with a verbal message, part of which is given to 3 or more members. (20 words each)

By star navigation via check points to locate a scouter's camp.
3rd Section
Find your way home. Repeat message on arrival.

Duration:09.00 to 17.00
Work by patrols. Each patrol to leave in hike kit with empty water bottle in covered transport. To be given a map, but no map reference at destination. Instruction to proceed to a map reference where they will find and purify water, fill bottles and receive wide Game instructions.
Wide Game.
2/3 patrol attackers : 1/3 defenders. Defenders know to +- 5 sq. miles where other attacking parties are. Defenders each hold half a torn code giving 2 probable sites and direction of attack. Are to prevent attack by inconveniencing attckers and by defence of sites.
Attackers one party has charge, one has detonator, one has fuse, one has coded message giving attack site and time. One has code keys.
Attackers have to find each other and successfully place demolition charge.
All patrols to log with times and map references all activities and decisions. You must collect, check and mark logs and attend day's postmortem.

DETAIL FOR HIKE OBGANISER : 1.9.72 - 3.9.72
Prepare different routes all difficult and of equal difficulty, 30 miles, route description by true north bearing and metres, map references for lunch and night camp. Night camps to be inspected at 6.30 hours Sunday, all routes to coverge 10.00hrs. Sunday and split off again. Hike to end at a map reference at 16.00 hrs.
Each hike party to have two tasks, one to be detection of light aircraft landing ground
Each party to be accompanied by experienced tutor who will correct navigation when error plots 5000 metres from true position. He will attend to feet at 12.00 hrs. 15.00 hrs. 18.00 hrs. Saturday and at 9.00 hrs and 12.00 hrs. Sunday if the trouble is reported to him within 3 minutes of stated time.
